Garden Club
The garden club educates students about the benefits of growing healthy food and native plants. PPPCS has won a $2,000 School Grant for Healthy Kids. The grant will be used to support our Garden Club throughout the year! Kudos to Serena Harris for her hard work with the PPPCS Garden Club and successful writing of the grant!
Running Club
The PPPCS running club has two sessions a week in Patterson Park on Tuesday and Fridays from 3:30-4:30PM. We have more than 100 kids and many teachers and parents are involved! The PPPCS running club was awarded a 2012 ING Running for Something Better grant! This grant, together with the matching funding donated by Run4Good, allowed the teachers to buy much needed running gear and training equipment for the kids.

Mobile Dentist Visits
The Mobile Dentists come to PPPCS twice a year to provide basic and restorative dental care for PPPCS students!
On April 25th, our students will participate in our Global Youth Service Day Project. The middle school students at PPPCS are working on a project to promote wellness and health. Students from Patterson Park Public Charter School are going to have a day of fun and fitness by walking around our Community and demonstrating fitness. We invite you to join us for the fun.
The event will take place on April 25, 2013. We will leave PPPCS at 3:45 and hike a pre-determined route. Along the way, we will have some fitness and health stops that will provide participants with information that promotes safety and health.
